Lorraine Pearce

Lorraine M. (Sprague) Pearce, age 98 of Perham, MN passed away on Monday, June 29, 2020 at Perham Living.  Lorraine was born in Fergus Falls, MN on June 15, 1922.  She was the foster daughter of the late Edger and Sarah Sprague of rural Perham.

Lorraine attended school in Fergus falls and rural Perham.  On June 25, 1940 she married John L. Pearce at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Perham.  Gardening, sewing, cooking and baking were past times that Lorraine enjoyed the most.   Along with time spent entertaining family and friends.

Lorraine is survived by her six children; John (Jacque) of Bemidji, MN, Mike (Carol) of McIntosh, MN, Nan Velner of Richfield, MN, Kathy (Charles) Shipp of Richfield, MN, Steve of Perham and Diane (Mike) Schmitz of Perham; eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Preceding Lorraine in death are her husband John in 1998 and infant son Darroll in 1947.

A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 2 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery in Perham, MN.
