Joyce Van Eps

Joyce Diane Van Eps, age 73, of Ottertail MN died on Thursday January 9, 2020 at Perham Health.  Joyce was born Friday July 19, 1946 to Walter and Mabel Mandelkow of Vesta, MN where she spent most of her childhood and graduated from Belview, Minnesota High School.

Joyce met and married Richard Van Eps while living in the Twin Cities area. They settled in St. James where she raised four children and worked as a banking administrator. They retired to Ottertail, MN.

Joyce enjoyed gardening, fishing, and traveling. She was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed.

Joyce is survived by her husband Richard; sons Neil (Lori), Ned (Zhenhua), Nathan, and Nolan; grandson Wyatt; granddaughter Eliza, and siblings; Cheryl (Bruce) and Dale (Jan).  Preceding Joyce in death were her parents; infant son Nicholas Jon; and her sister Janice.

Memorial services will be held Friday January 17, 2020 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Ottertail, MN. Visitation is from 10:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. with service immediately following.
